OUR MOUNTAIN-TOP DINING EXPERIENCE
4Venture boasts a breathtaking lookout venue at the top of the Hottentots Holland Mountains where, after an exciting technical off-road driving route, our guests will be served a selection of rustic lunch platters prepared by the renowned SALT restaurant at Paul Cluver, as well as being treated to a wine tasting of locally sourced wines.
Our venue is comfortable, under cover, child-friendly, and offers all necessary amenities. The journey also includes stops at our Historic Wagon Wheels lookout used by early settlers, and the Giant's Washbasin waterfall.
OFF-ROAD WINE TASTING TOURS
Experience a side of Elgin's wine country that few people get to see, as we take you off the beaten track between some of the valley's most renowned wine estates.
Route A:
Starts and ends at South Hill.
Add 3 of the following farms: Charles Fox, Oneiric, Highlands, Iona.*
Route B:
Starts and ends at Elgin Vintners.
Add 3 of the following farms: Almenkerk, Elgin Ridge, Paul Wallace, Lothian Vineyards.Shannon Vineyards.*

OUR RATES
Please note that we require a 48 hour minimum booking period in order to prep and confirm with our suppliers. We offer free cancellation up to 7 days before your booking, whereafter we charge a 50% cancellation fee for a weeks’ notice, and 100% for 24 hours.
FULL-DAY PACKAGE
Our full-day package offers the full 4Venture Mountain-Top Dining Experience, which includes our technical off-road route, visits to The Giant's Washbasin falls and the historic Wagon Wheels Lookout, and a full platter lunch & wine tasting at our venue.

HALF-DAY PACKAGE
Our Half-Day package starts at 8.30 am at Trails End Bike Hotel in Grabouw, and includes a visit to the Historic Wagon Wheels lookout with a 2-3 hour 4x4 track until reaching a secondary lookout point where a continental breakfast will be served with coffee and tea.

All our vehicles are stocked with water, beers, locally produced ciders (Eversons), local fruit juice and snack packages (biltong, nuts, local fruit)
Throughout the journey, we will share historical facts for your interest along with literary aids to help identify local animal and plant species that you may see along the way.
